A classic Italian eatery. It's a great location for a date night. Nice and quint environment, dimly lit with the perfect volume background music, enough to still enjoy the tunes but still have a conversation during your meal.Awesome wine and beer selection. The bread and fresh tomato and olive oil spread was a nice starter. I can say the shrimp linguini and stuff chicken with goat cheese entrees were incredible. The service was positive and attentive. The only downside was the mouse cake dessert was very hard. You can tell it had been in the fridge for a while being so close and stiff sorta. From what I could consume with the texture it was tasty.I can definitely recommend this location.

Small cafe with a great menu. As advertised the pasta and sauces are made fresh daily and you can tell with each bite. Great place for a quite and intimate meal.

The pork tenderloins were Amazing!!!! Really great place, wine selection was really good and the host was very helpful with recommendations. With a party of 5. All different plates from Pasta to Sausage, Stuffed Chicken and Ravioli. Everyone was very happy. $$$ But well worth it.

We are having a cup of coffee as it is not quite dinnertime as of yet. The staff seems very pleasant, the Capuccino is that robust flavor like having a cup of coffee in Italy! This charming restaurant is cozy & looks out to the street for people watching. We hope to come back for dinner one night.

Rarely give 5 stars after only one visit but it is deserved here. Small place, small menu, many homemade pastas, and kitschy-cool décor. The white bean & artichoke ravioli special was so tasty and so was my wife’s linguini with bacon, tomatoes, and garlic oil. Cash only.

Excellent, if limited, Italian menu. Likely to be crowded on weekends and at the dinner hour. Excellent fare and intimate setting with great atmosphere. Get the cheesecake. We also endorse the pappardelle, whuch features excellent fresh pasta and mushrooms. Highly recommend.

Amazing Italian joint right across the street from Fort Greene Park. Waiter was very attentive and had a characteristically Italian charm. The tomato flan that came with the bread was delicious, and it alone makes coming back very much worth it. Not to mention the superior handmade pasta. Will be returning very soon.

We dine here consistently when we go to BAM or TFNA. Service is wonderful, food is consistently excellent. The cheesecake is superb.

Best under the radar Italian spot in Ft Greene. Low key, not pretentious, just delicious, no-frills Italian comfort food at very reasonable prices for the neighborhood (4 glasses of good wine, apps, two entrees and two desserts for ~$90).Great service, staff always remembers my wife and me, always friendly. Perfect go to on a cold or rainy weeknight when the fridge is bare and we want something close, quick, and inexpensive. Atmosphere is super cozy with the perfect amount of camp (in the best way). Homemade pasta, meatballs are insanely good- ask for them w/ linguine, delicious. Love the salmon, shrimp linguine, seafood special always good. Don’t expect a sceney, snobby Brooklyn spot w/ trendy gourmet menu- this is the opposite. Just great, old school neighborhood spot with consistently delicious Italian comfort food.

What a nice dining experience. Complimentary tomato flan which was incredible. Delicious homemade sausage ravioli in a beautiful space. And two complimentary yummy biscotti after our meal. And great service!!

This is my very special place to eat. It’s small cozy Italian restaurant near where I used to work a few years ago. The device is superb. The pasta is delicious, made with an exquisite light sauce. The dessert is also great, tiramisu and cheesecake are my favorites. I recommend this place.

We tried bunch here on weekend. A small and tide place with regular American brunch. Very loud and popular I have to say. But their coffee is awesome. Food is averagely good for the price.

Convenient to the subway and low key. The wait staff is very personable.

Just be aware that if you are going to a performance at BAM, a 6:00 reservation is not enough time to have two courses and make a 7:30 curtain.

Had a great time here recently. Staff was great, helpful and fun, made us feel comfortable. Food was great, classic Italian dishes cooked very well and served in a timely manner with a smile.

This is our family's favorite place due to the superb service and delicious food! Cafe e Vino is fantastic. It is perfect for dinner, brunch and lunch. They have an array of selections on the menu with enjoyable chicken, fish, meat, veg dishes, and tasty salads. There are many healthy options. The restaurant provides a lovely ambience that is lively, while also extending quiet areas that can make it feel intimate. It is perfect for couples, families, and groups - or to have a nice meal on your own. It is very good as well for special occasions. The owners and team are always welcoming, congenial, and the delicious meals they offer make this an excellent authentic experience. Cafe e Vino is in a great location near everything- great cultural, business, and educational institutions, transportation and parking. We highly recommend this favorite place!

Love this place. It’s been a favorite of mine for about 9 years. Excellent service and most of their pastas are homemade. Great wine selection and fresh seasonal ingredients for most of the dishes. I recommend it constantly to people looking for a date spot especially first dates because at least I know they will like the food if not anything else.

Delicious, homemade Italian food. I had the ricotta and veal meatballs. Served with a vegetable, no pasta. Really tasty. I suggest you arrive early. They run out of some of the freshest things.
